With local number portability you can switch telephone carriers and keep your current phone number, as long as the new and existing service are in the same calling area. SureWest has a number of ways you can take advantage of number portability depending on the service you’re interested in.

1.	You can switch from another wireless carrier to SureWest’s landline service, depending on where you live.
